Personality:

Cold, aloof, vicious, impassive, hateful. These are words Sephiroth himself would like everyone to see him as, when in fact there is more to this man than at first meets the eye.

e is cold, especially to those who he does not know, after all, these people easily die, what would be the point of being kind to the condemmned? He sees life as a series of challenges which have to be overcome in order to reach the next one. Some might say this is a bad thing.

Sephiroth would not. Challenges are the only things that keep him going when he is bored enough.

He prefers his own company to that of certain other people. Keeping to himself, training, reading, most of his favourite hobbies are those that he can do all on his own. Yet if approached, it is unlikely he would just destroy the person unless he had reason. For that is the key point to Sephiroth. He never does anything without a reason behind it. No matter how strange that reason is to other people, as far as he is concerned, it is always justified before he carries out the action.

"The ends justify the means" is certainly an expression used to describe the silver-haired demon that so many people fear and so many used to worship before certain events.

Sephiroth's actions are not followed with regret. Even when the results are not as he plans.

Another aspect of his personality would be his impassiveness. Certainly to the untrained eye he seems this way, yet sometimes a flicker of the eyes, the movement of his hand as it falls down to the hilt of his blade.. you have to read his actions to know him, and that is a place few people manage to get through to successfully. Sephiroth is above and beyond all, despite his desperate wish that it were not so.. human. Born to two human parents, despite the Jenova cells within him, he can be nothing but human. But never will it be accepted by him.

Sephiroth is not now and never has been insane.

A Memory: [Set during the Shin-ra years]

Blood... everywhere around him was blood. Slowly, he smiled, surveying his surroundings more carefully. Most of the people here were dead. One or two lived still, but they were so close to death it did not matter. Emerald green flickered softly as he listened to the pitiful sobbing coming from one to whom death had not been quite quick enough.

Silently he strode over to the direction of the sobbing, a boy... no more than eighteen perhaps was lying on the ground, his leg a mess of blood and bones, the foot missing completely, he was staring up at the sky as though it held the answers.

Sephiroth shook his head slowly, young... old... they all died in the end. He unsheathed the blade he held, Masamune shimmering softly in the air before he brought it downwards, plunging it into the young mans heart, slicing upwards seconds afterwards. There would be no bringing him back. There would be no more suffering. He wiped the blade on the young boys shirt then sheathed it.

Silently he headed back. The mission had been successful. He would report it as such.
